Scope of search
A literature search was conducted for guidelines, systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials on primary care management of bacterial vaginosis (BV), with additional searches in the following areas:
- screening for BV in pregnancy
- treatment of BV in pregnancy
- treatment of persistent or recurrent BV
