Age from 1 month onwards
1st choice: mupirocin 2% nasal ointment
Mupirocin 2% nasal ointment
Apply a small amount of ointment to the inside of each nostril three times a day for 5 days.
Supply 3 g.
Treatment failure: Naseptin nasal cream
Naseptin nasal cream
Apply a small amount of cream to the inside of each nostril four times a day for 10 days.
Supply 15 g.
