Cellulitis - acute - Goals and outcome measures
Goals
- Diagnose cellulitis and identify underlying causes
- Assess the severity of infection, and admit people who require intravenous antibiotics
- Treat people who can be managed in primary care with appropriate antibiotics
- Provide advice on relief of symptoms
- Follow-up people to ensure cellulitis has resolved
