Dyspepsia - pregnancy-associated - Making a diagnosis
How do I know my patient has it?
- Dyspepsia in pregnancy is predominantly caused by gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. The diagnosis can be made on symptoms alone, which do not differ from the non-pregnant population. For more information see the CKS topic on Dyspepsia - unidentified cause.
