Goals
- To provide effective control of the symptoms of dyspepsia
- To identify and treat Helicobacter pylori infection
- To ensure appropriate use of endoscopy
- To promote healing of any mucosal lesions
- To prevent relapse and complications
- To detect any serious pathologies, including oesophageal or gastric cancer
