What dose should I use?
- Antidepressants are unlicensed for treating menopausal symptoms. However, the following dosages have been assessed and found to be effective for hot flushes in short-term studies:
- Citalopram 20 mg daily.
- Paroxetine 20 mg daily.
- Fluoxetine 20 mg daily.
- Venlafaxine 37.5 mg twice daily.
